European forest research and innovation workshop during XIV Forestry Congress

7th – 11th September 2015, Durban (South Africa)

During XIV Forestry Congress EUFORINNO global workshop was organised, titled "European forest research and innovation – supporting and monitoring resilience of forests to climate change" (event flyer is available here, find our more here).

The workshop presentations made a good impression and the presenters were asked to elaborate on their statements by several members of the audience after the presentation.

The presentations included keynote speakers from PLECO Centre of Excellence (the University of Antwerpen, Belgium) Dr. Gaby Deckmyn and from National Research Council of Italy (CNR) Dr. Giorgio Matteucci and Dr. Elena Paoletti and the Slovenian Forestry Institute: Dr. Marjana Westergren, Dr. Mitja Ferlan, Dr. Primož Simončič and Prof. Dr. Hojka Kraigher (EUFORINNO Project Coordinator).
