Technical Board

Role

The TB will oversee the project execution within SFI. The Board will be responsible for reviewing the scientific, technical and strategic aspects of the project within SFI. It is responsible for management of the project on institute level, ensuring that the project meets its objectives, achieves excellence, masters risk management and that the deliverables are produced on time and according to budget.

To this end, the Technical Board will:

• Control, and, if necessary, revise the strategy and policies of the project within SFI;
• Monitor secondments and recruitment of researchers within SFI;
• Follow up the purchase of equipment within SFI;
• Monitor and evaluate results within SFI;
• Decide on any major conflicts that may arise among researchers within SFI.

Plan of meetings

Technical management meetings will be scheduled four times a year.

Memebers

The TB members consist of the Management Team of project, WP leaders, SFI Department leaders, SFI Director, Chair of SFI Scientific Booard and SFI Chief Accountant. The members are:

• Dr. Dušan Jurc (leader of Department of Forest Protection),
