During the conference several social events will be organized: the welcome mixer, posters shall be accompanied with pizza and beverages, the field excursion to a nearby forest reserve and research plot shall end at a local tourism and wine tasting site, and the conference dinner with awards ceremony will conclude the scientific sessions.
The hotel also offers accompanying persons activities, such as Nordic walking and running in forests with presentation of natural sights on the mountain range Pohorje, where Rogla is located. The natural sights nearby are Dravinja River, Lovrenc Lakes, NATURA 2000, Oplotnica Gorge, Pavlakova cave, Wine-Growing Area of Škalce and Zreče Lake.
